Made in England. 2 1 2" diameter with capacity up to a DT4 with no backing or a WF3 with 50yds. Two screw latch plate and a single screw reversible nickel silver line guide. Currently set up for RHW but easily convertible. Smooth alloy foot. Both the reel and spare spool come in a black Hardy zippered case.

Reviews for this product were varied, but I decided to give it a go. A wise choice. These arrived on time, in a plastic bag, in a box, inside a sturdier box…in perfect condition. They are very sturdy compared to most I’ve seen. I used them in preparing a meal for a family who lost a loved one. If they easily accommodate 5 lbs of potato salad, I’d say they’re sturdy. I also used them for sliders, and a couple of fruit trays.
