The owner of the rod informed me: My old friend Claude Batault (who worked with Charles Ritz and Winston on designs) let me try his taper executed by Winston in the 1960s. Anyway, Glenn Brackett made this straight line taper for me in the late 1980s. The rod is in excellent overall condition. All sections are full length and straight. Champagne colored
